Day 6: ITCZ

We entered the famous convergence zone last night! We were lucky with a SSE wind of about 12 knots, interrupted by a few mild squalls.

Since noon, we had to start the engine as the wind gradually died down. In theory, we could reach the NE trade winds tonight, which would allow us to use little diesel.

All is well on board—the kids played in a basin of seawater this morning. There’s still a fairly formed NNE swell that didn’t allow for a proper sea bath.
