Summer at La Passagère.

Our little walks along the banks of the Rance allowed us to spot a very friendly little boatyard for Libertaire to spend a summer ashore: La Passagère, a stone’s throw from the house from which J.B. Charcot watched the construction of the Pourquoi-Pas on the opposite bank. As temperatures climb with the approaching summer, conditions are ripe for painting work… The whole bottom gets done, along with spot touch-ups on the deck. We also take the opportunity for a complete engine overhaul, between visits from friends and family. One has to eat well ;-) and a few hunting trips to Pointe du Décollé and La Varde bring us good catches…
