Departed Nome yesterday afternoon, calm conditions with 18 hours of tacking in 10-15 kt winds, a few hours of engine to cross the high-pressure center and since then sailing again with all sails out. The favorable current in the strait helps a lot, rare for Libertaire to go faster than the wind.
All is well on board, northerly winds expected by the weekend, we're thinking of stopping near Point Hope...
