Ua Huka, Marquises Last week we spent a few days on the small island of Ua Huka in front of the beautiful Hatuana beach. The landscapes contrast with the other islands of the Marquesas archipelago, the rainfall is much less abundant and gives a lunar impression to its vast desert expanses.
Fine sand on the beach, great snorkeling, hikes with wild goats... in short, a very beautiful stopover despite a rolling anchorage!
We are now in Taiohae, the "capital" of the Marquesas on the island of Nuku Hiva, which we will explore for a few weeks before heading to Canada!
