It’s time to leave Seward, our winter port in Alaska where we had wonderful times! Heading to the Alaska Peninsula and then the Bering Sea to prepare for the Northwest Passage this summer! We are sad to leave this warm village but also excited to embark on the adventure again! Thanks to all the residents of Seward we’ve met over the past months for their hospitality and kindness, and to the crews of Setjin, Caprivi, Polar Express, and Lumi!

Arrived in Qeqertarsuaq, Greenland after 6 weeks from Nome, Alaska! NWP 2024!!

Canada Canada here we are!!! 26 days at sea, a little over 4200 miles from the 11th parallel South to the 54th North! We arrived safely in Prince Rupert in the province of British Columbia at the border with Alaska. So happy to sail in this region we've dreamed about for so long, whales were there to welcome us in the Hecate Strait under a blue sky with snowy mountain peaks in the distance! The seawater dropped 20 degrees (from 29 to 9C).
