More than a month since we arrived in Gambier, time flies in this little paradise. We alternate between the beautiful anchorages offered by the small islands and the village of Rikitea on Mangareva Island, which allows for lovely family hikes. The encounters are always as friendly and generous with fresh fruits and vegetables. We are happy to have spent a little more time in this archipelago that we flew over 2 years ago.
After a last weekend with Hervé and Valerie on the island of Taravai, we will leave early next week for Rapa, the most isolated and southernmost of the Austral Islands, 550 miles to the southwest.
