TIME: 2024/09/19 13:12 LATITUDE: 50-19N LONGITUDE: 034-47W COURSE: 96 SPEED: 7 After 2 days heading South, we finally picked up SSW winds south of the depression center we crossed on its eastern flank yesterday. The sea has settled well after 24h of disorder where the 5m easterly swell mixed with the southerly swell and residual northerly swell from the previous depression... It feels good to move around without holding on for every step! We'll be able to eat hot meals again!
For the next leg, we'll have some motoring tonight before we're sailing again within 48 hours as a new front arrives from the SSE (more reaching in perspective!) — fortunately not too strong.
