Summer in Locmiquélic

A big clean-up is in order before settling Libertaire into her summer quarters. After a nighttime scouting trip (work calls…) around the Lorient roadstead, we finally find, with the help of Caro & Pierre, a choice anchorage at the bottom of the Anse du Loc. The weeks at the hospital go by, but we’re happy to see the weekends arrive to enjoy the roadstead and friends… Take your pick: spearfishing, sailing dinghy or Optimist, running, windsurfing, and in every case we end up with a Ti’Punch in hand in Pierrot’s garden, facing the sea… In short, an idyllic summer — but don’t forget the dinghy when the tide comes in, at the risk of swimming home! (even if the water is warmer than on the Rance in March…)
