Since last night, we’ve exited Lancaster Sound and entered Baffin Bay, between Baffin Island and Greenland. We left our fellow sailboats heading to Pond Inlet, deciding to take advantage of a good weather window for Greenland. The journey back to France is still long, and the season is advancing—unfortunately, we won’t have time to explore the area. No matter, we’ll return! We’re heading to Qeqertarssuak south of Disko Island, now 450 miles away. All is well on board—we admire the many ice giants we pass with respect, keeping them to leeward... The watchkeeper keeps eyes wide open—luckily, the night isn’t fully dark yet, and the radar is on guard.
