The SW wind didn't keep us waiting, and so it was with a warm farewell that we cast off from Dieppe harbor on Sunday, April 28 in the late afternoon, once again under the sun! After a speedy crossing of the Pas de Calais thanks to a force 5-6 tailwind, Libertaire covered 180 miles in record time aided by the current.
Since yesterday, the weather has been more anticyclonic with light winds shifting N-NE and still sunny to better appreciate the chilly 5 degrees at dawn!
This morning our GPS coordinates are: 54.40 N - 3.29 E, we're heading 60 and our speed is 5.8 knots.
Joyeux muguet !
